Community Involvement

Being involved in our local community and giving back are a strong part of our culture and our philosophy of Achieving Goals Together.
Below are some of the community activities we currently support.

 Albury Wodonga Business Awards

We are exceptionally proud to be the major sponsor of the Albury Wodonga Business Awards for 2018 and 2019.

The Albury Wodonga Business Awards are the premier business event in our region. The awards showcase the hard work, achievements and successes of local businesses, providing local businesses with the opportunity to be recognised for their achievements.

The Awards represent a range of Albury Wodonga business sectors and industries, offering every business in the region an opportunity to nominate, celebrate and share their business success.

400 local business people attend the Awards each year and we are exceptionally proud that a number of our clients won an award or were a finalist.

Congratulations to all the successful businesses of 2019.

Paul Goonan, Director, agreed to do the dunk if we raised $500. A total of $1008.00 was raised

The event raised over $70,000.

Sidney Nolan Ned Kelly Series Exhibition at MAMA

We were very proud to have sponsored the exhibition of Sidney Nolan's iconic Ned Kelly Series at Murray Art Museum Albury (MAMA).

It was 2003 when the National Gallery of Australia last toured Sidney Nolan's 'Ned Kelly' series of paintings in its entirety. During this tour of only four galleries nationally, MAMA was the exclusive NSW gallery to host this exhibition. This tour provided a unique and special time for the Australian community to be able to visit and experience the wonderful paintings by such an iconic Australian painter. The exhibition ran from 23 November 2018 until 17 February 2019.

Being a sponsor of this event meant the Albury Wodonga community and visitors could view the exhibition for free. Something we are very proud of.

Sidney Nolan's Ned Kelly series is a National Gallery of Australia exhibition.

 Hume Bank City2City RunWalk

Johnsons MME have been sponsors of the Walk and Talk portion of the Hume Bank City2City since 2018. The City2City raises much-needed funds for Albury Wodonga Health.

All proceeds raised by the 2019 Hume Bank City2City Run Walk will fund life-saving ultra-sound equipment for critical care services, including Emergency, Intensive Care and Anaesthetics. The upgraded equipment allows for faster diagnosis and treatment of Albury Wodonga Health's most critically ill patients.

Johnsons MME choose to be involved as sponsors of the Walk and Talk - City2City because it is a great community event that raises significant funds to support our cross-border health service. Health can affect everyone, and the Walk and Talk portion of the event is one way everyone and anyone can be involved in City2City. Not all of us are runners, so being a sponsor and participating in City2City means we can make a positive contribution to our local community.
