Growing up on the family farm in Henty, it was natural that Cameron would attend primary school at St Pauls in Henty and complete his high school years at St Pauls College in Walla Walla.
It was an offer to study accountancy at Charles Sturt University in Albury that saw him make his first moves away from the family farm. His studies saw him achieve his Bachelor of Business (Accountancy/Economics) in 1992 and further studies while working saw him gain membership to the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1997.
Cameron was employed as a manager at Johnsons MME in January 2000 as part of our Business Services division. However, his keen interest in the commodity markets, and the financial well-being of his clients, saw him studying further. In 2006 Cameron received a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment and when he was admitted as a Partner of Johnsons MME on 1 July 2009, Cameron became our first Financial Advisory partner, while still working on clients Business Services needs.
Cameron is now the Director in charge of Johnsons MME Financial Advisory Pty Ltd, an inter company of Johnsons MME. Cameron was instrumental in our firm gaining our own AFSL licence and Cameron works closely with Grant Lewis, a manager in the Financial Advisory division.
Cameron is married to Tonia, and is the proud father of 2 children and 2 step-children. He is involved in coaching cricket at East Albury Cricket Club and is Treasurer of the Albury Tigers Football Club. He has further interests in all levels of cricket and has been known to keep an eye on the financial and commodity markets 24 hours of the day. Cameron has strong ties with his family and extended family.
