Southern Border Small Business Grant

NSW small businesses in eligible local Government areas along the NSW and Victorian border will be able to apply for $5,000 and $10,000 Grants through Service NSW from Tuesday 8 September. Applications will be open for a six-week period and close 18 October 2020.

Extension of the JobKeeper Payment

The JobKeeper payment that was due to finish on 27 September 2020 has been extended until 28 March 2021. The extension will be broken down into two periods; period 1 (28 September 2020 to 3 January 2021) and period 2 (4 January 2021 to 28 March 2021).

COVID-19 Stimulus Update 7 April 2020

Jobkeeper (Updated)

This program aims to support businesses who have been significantly impacted by the Coronavirus by providing access to wages subsidy to continue paying their employees. It forms part of the Australian Government's Coronavirus Economic Stimulus Package which aims to keep Australians in jobs, keep businesses in business and support households and the Australian economy as the world deals with the significant challenges posed by the spread of the coronavirus.

Under the program, businesses will be able to claim a fortnightly payment of $1,500 per eligible employee from 30 March 2020, for a maximum of six months.
